DayDayGay Cocktales

DayDayGay can not be missed during the DDW. At our home base, Plug In City we ‘ll open the doors on Saturday 21 October for the first edition of 'Cocktales'! Cocktales is an art event and stage. A small, inclusive cultural festival where artists and visitors can be seen.

Cocktales!

You can come and take a look during the DDW and be immersed in a cocktail of people, stories and worlds, in artists who show their world and story. There is an exhibition with an installation by Sarjon and live screen printing. There are performances in the evening. Of course we end the day with a drink and a dance. With, among others: Sarjon(they/them) is a multidisciplinary artist and curator who works with vanity as a research space within identity politics. Through performances, text and audiovisual research, spaces are created to generate dialogue between their many alter egos. The emphasis is on the characters as political consequences of the stories they tell. They build futuristic worlds with social and cultural constructs from real life. With Sarjon DJ Spaceboy And more tba! Doors: 14.00 Break: 18.00 to 19.30 Performances in the evening!

About DayDayGay

Hi! We are DayDayGay! We celebrate queer culture in Eindhoven and beyond. We were founded by queer people for queer people, with collaboration and inclusion at heart. As a collective, we organize different types of events, ranging from poetry clubs to picnics and drag queen bingos to club nights.
