Nooks goes to the deepest depths. It is based on a primal feeling. That primal feeling was reduced to the basic form that is the cube. It is about the search for the essence, nothing superfluous. The essence of being, of what we need.

arise

came about through a school assignment where we had to design a table based on our idol. For me, that idol became the Belgian post-metal band Amenra. After reading their book "Het Gloren," I chose to continue with the word primal feeling. From that primal feeling, I looked for a basic form that put down Amenra's well-thought-out philosophy. For me that became the cube. The 2 side surfaces are 750x750mm. The 2 corners of the seat and table top are identical to each other, when you add the 2 surfaces of each corner (420+330mm) you also arrive at 750mm. These corners are placed in opposite directions to each other. That means that if you add the horizontal plane of the tabletop and the horizontal plane of the seat togethNookser you also arrive at 750mm. The same for the 2 vertical planes of each corner.
