"Reflective Resonance" is an design/art project inspired by Tom Jacobs, a Design Academy alumnus. Tom's transformative approach takes discarded objects from the streets and breathes new life into them, creating both functional pieces and art installations. This project draws parallels with the "Man Machine," symbolising unity between humanity and technology, by revealing anthropological insights through Tom's work. Tom's creations serve as mirrors, offering glimpses into the subconscious behaviours that shape human interactions. Like the "Man Machine," who bridged divides, Tom's art unearths the threads connecting us on a deeper level. Embodying a philosophy of "trial and error," he echoes the journey of growth undertaken by the "Man Machine."
