A fungi-inspired alarm clock that offers a glimpse into a harmonious future where nature and humanity coexist on equal terms. This sensory design invites participants to interact with a colony of 'beings' that sense and communicate with each other.

Experience first-hand a post-anthropocentric future.

Ruta is a fungi-inspired alarm clock that invites visitors to experience what it would be like to go to sleep and be awakened in a future scenario where nature and humans co-exist on equal terms. Participants will be encouraged to interact with a colony of 'beings' that sense and communicate with each other. This installation stimulates the senses through smell, light, sound, and touch, prompting reflection on a post-anthropocentric world.

Nature-inspired design: the key for a sustainable future.

The installation draws inspiration from the captivating world of fungi and serves as a metaphor for a post-anthropocentric future. By integrating nature's wisdom into our daily lives, we foster a sustainable future built upon harmony, symbiosis, and a profound respect for the intricate web of life that sustains us all.
