Spills and Towers

From Structures to Systems

These objects are crafted from a combination of materials, specifically ceramics, glass, and fabric. Their base starts as clean geometric forms and progressively evolve into more irregular, organic, and alive designs as they grow. My aim to establish a precedent that encourages a broader societal transformation and a shift in our fundamental values on questions of space, inhabitance and co-existance. This is achieved by mimicking natural visual languages of growth characterized by soft, flowing shapes. These organic structures are reminiscent of patterns found in various natural settings, such as the inner structures of bones, deep-sea sponges, and intricate root systems. They serve as focal points of life, extending invitations and creating a sense of welcome. Through their presence, they have the potential to redefine our perception of what and who we share our space with.
