Evolve is a fusion of traditional craftsmanship, digital design, and innovative technology. The project begins with an exploration of artisanal carving in classic furniture pieces, an art form that has stood the test of time. These timeless techniques are then carefully transposed into a contemporary context, with Ralf as the maker serving as a bridge between past and present. In the virtual world, the project takes on a new dimension. Here, Ralf interprets the classical forms and techniques, translating them into digital matter. This process of virtual reinterpretation allows him to push the boundaries of traditional design while simultaneously preserving the essence of artisanal craftsmanship. The culmination of this creative process occurs when the virtual designs are transformed into physical reality. This is achieved using computer-controlled production processes. The result is a synthesis: objects that radiate both the warmth and character of hand-carved work, as well as embody the precision and innovation of computer-cut elements.
