Lotte makes nature tangible in her high end tableware collection Flora Aeterna, on which native flowers seem to rest. Made of ceramic waste shards, she processes waste into a valuable new resource for her poetic designs.
About Studio Lotte Douwes
Lotte Douwes transforms ceramic-, and specifically porcelain waste, into new tableware and interior products. She designs high-quality clay recipes that require lower baking temperatures and have unique characteristics. Her mission is to make the entire production process of pottery and porcelain circular, making major savings on precious raw materials and energy consumption. While designing products to cherish that last a lifetime. Lotte produces own and commissioned design collections.
