You might not know this, but the future of energy has already begun. All over the Netherlands you can find buildings that do not use natural gas. They get their energy in other innovative ways. The proejct ‘Glimpses into Green Energy’ makes these new systems visible for passers-by.
About Bits of Space, Waag Futurelab
Bits of Space is a strategic design studio giving shape to the relations and interactions between people, place and technology. We collaborate with public servants, architects and developers to create a better build environment. Through research and design, we aim to engage people in meaningful ways with the places they work, live and recreate in.
'Glimpses of Green Energy' stemmed from an open call by Waag Futurelab, and is supported by the Creative Industries Fund and by Gemeente Amsterdam.
