Experimenting with techniques and materials

The Gerrit Rietveld Academie is a small-scale, internationally oriented art academy in Amsterdam. With 23 specialised workshops, some unique to the Netherlands, the academy offers the opportunity to experiment with a wide range of techniques and materials. The works presented here are the result of this exploration, both technically and conceptually. Whether it plays with the relationship between a moving body and space where touch and the exchange of weight are used as tools of measurement to create new tridimensional steel shapes in space; or sculpting and glazing vessels with found objects from specific regions focused on mindful movement, through and in alignment with our environment.
