In times filled with uncertainty, the Saddle of Omens awaits. This next-generation fortune-telling saddle will help you navigate the shifting tides of fate. Let its wisdom, drawn from the heart of nature, illuminate your path forward. Are you ready to embrace the journey?

Saddle Up for a Journey

"Saddle of Omens" is an interactive fortune-telling experience that blends traditional wisdom with modern technology. Participants sit on a saddle that uses sensors to collect data, which is then processed into a personalized fortune—viewable through a VR headset. Inspired by a 9th-century nomadic fortune-telling book. The experience reimagines ancient practices to question how they can guide our present and future.

Nomadic Wisdom and Reconnecting with Nature

With roots in nomadic culture, Blxsh’s project reflects a personal journey of rediscovery and healing. The symbolic short stories within the fortunes offer lessons from nature, emphasizing that humans are a part of nature and that nature itself is a source of knowledge. “Saddle of Omens” explores how reconnecting with these beliefs can heal our fractured relationship with the environment, restore hope for the future, and inspire a sustainable and harmonious coexistence with the natural world.

Reimagining Technology: Bridging the Gap to Nature

This project critically examines the role of technology in our disconnect from nature. Blxsh critiques how technology has distanced us from the world around us while exploring how VR and algorithmic elements can be reimagined to foster a more positive relationship with the environment. “Saddle of Omens” presents an alternative approach, where technology encourages us to step outside, reflect, and learn from nature. By blending modern tech with ancient wisdom, the project envisions a future where digital experiences support a healthier relationship with the natural world, ultimately bridging our connection to nature rather than isolating us from it.
