Unleashing the Potential of Spatial Computing

What does this workshop entail?

You will be guided step-by-step throughout this 2-hour workshop. We’ll start by sensitizing to the topic by mapping out the components of a spatial computing device, addressing their implications, and imagining ideal user scenarios to reflect your wishes and needs. Then, we’ll explore how we could spark new ideas by replacing, leveraging, or reversing current conditions and limitations. Through these board game-like activities, you’ll iterate on and build from other participants’ ideas to synthesize creative and plausible concepts. By the end of the session, you’ll have visualized your ideas. After the workshop, the outputs will be published in a catalog so that new ideas can be shared with a wider audience. So why not join us to envision the collective future of Spatial Computing?

Why Should I Join This Workshop?

We’ve already experienced how a private, portable computing device that fits in our pocket has changed our everyday lives. Although Spatial Computing is not yet accessible to everyone, imagining the new products and services this technology could bring to the digital ecosystem allows us to reveal our wishes, needs, and frustrations. You’ll also learn how this approach can be applied to other relevant topics at your company for innovation. This workshop is designed for people with various levels of experience and knowledge. All you need is a passion for articulating your ideas and sharing them with others.
