Beatriz Isca
Wool embodies ways of living that run through generations, bonded to a landscape and a community. Focusing on the Dutch context, the project explores wool as a weaver of people, animals and land, searching for alternative values for wool that foster care and humbleness towards natural resources.
About Beatriz Isca
Beatriz Isca (1998) is a multidisciplinary designer focused on sustainability, passionate about reimagining today’s systems and speculating on preferred futures. Her background in product design led her to question the ways we design, produce and consume, disconnected from nature and indifferent to its boundaries. With a fascination for textiles, she works holistically to explore sustainable strategies that enhance/make visual the interdependence between humans and non-human nature.
