The textile works and drawings about Zaporizhzhia started with an individual search and need of Daryna Pasyuta, Ukrainian designer from Zaporizhzhia. She wanted to find a way to better explain what it feels like to live in a country at war. At that time, she could not explain it, but she could draw.

Daryna Pasyuta is an artist, architect and urban planner with 15 years of experience in Ukraine. She has worked on developing strategies, general plans for places, detailed plans for areas and other spatial planning documentation. Since 2022, she worked for Inbo and Ro3kvit.
