Produced for Het Schoenenkwartier as apart of their Sneaker Evolution exhibition and beginning as a more introspective outlook on the industry, the film invites collectors, designers and writers of footwear to tell personal stories about a beloved sneaker to discuss it’s surrounding worship as cultural and status markers, artefacts of craft and sneaker culture at large.
The film includes personal stories from Nathan Alexander Walker (designer: Arete create), Jesse Oeinck (collector: Vilis Vintage), Julia Lebosse (writer), Reijnald Kolthof (designer: Camper Lab) and Florence Weber (upcylcer: Studio Encore)
