The CO2Balance collection embodies the core mission of ReHemptation: to lead the transition toward truly carbon-negative, tree-free meeting spaces. By rethinking how public and corporate environments are furnished, ReHemptation utilizes Strumber—an advanced hemp biocomposite—to actively sequester carbon and eliminate reliance on timber and fossil-based plastics. The project is rooted in the belief that sustainability must be holistic. It bridges environmental decarbonization (Scope 3 reduction) with social responsibility, crafting inclusive furniture that fosters human connection, sensory accessibility, and natural harmony.

The collection addresses human sensory needs through tactile 45-degree chamfers, shadow-edges, and non-glare surfaces for visually impaired users, alongside sound-absorbing hemp fibers and elastomeric isolators that optimize acoustic clarity for hearing aid users. By combining R&D innovation with IPK standards, ReHemptation transforms social responsibility into tangible spatial solutions.
