Re-Veneer
Pieces of leftover veneer are pressed together to form a sturdy whole. Used to create various furniture and objects. The technique stems from the industrial process of laminating where a sheet of veneer is used to cover the less attractive material underneath. Here, veneer is used throughout the whole object. By pressing the different layers of veneer together in a specific mold, combined with solid wooden parts, the material is shaped and gains its strength. The manual process allows for freedom in arranging the different parts of veneer, where each object can have an individual, unique structure.
