Tessa van der Wey is a visual artist exploring dignity and empathy through the female portrait, dismantling the barriers "us and them," "good and bad"that divide us. Moving from acrylic to ceramics in 2020, drawn to clay's skin-like colors, she returns dignity through direct, eye-level encounter.
