Big changes? Start small!
Big change often starts small. Colleagues finding smarter ways to plan their office days. Sharing thoughts about how to make your work more sustainable. Or an idea for a locally sourced sandwich that becomes the most sustainable choice on the menu. Small experiments can gradually lead to bigger change.
In this pilot programme, the Dutch government and trade unions are working together towards sustainable change. After all, a collective labour agreement directly affects employees’ everyday working lives. How do you travel to work? What do you eat at the staff restaurant? And how sustainable is your home office?
The design-led approach Design voor Duurzaam starts with questions from everyday practice. New ideas are tested directly with employees. What works? Where do things get tricky? And what can we learn from that? Step by step, these experiments build a better understanding of what it takes to create sustainable change within an organisation.
In this exhibition, you can experience the process for yourself. Make choices, see what happens along the way and discover how curiosity, experimentation and collaboration can lead to change. What will your next step be?
