Rooted in open innovation, ekip brings together broad stakeholder groups to co-create and deliver evidence-based policy recommendations. Together, we’re shaping smarter innovation policies for ecosystems where collaborative processes and cross and open innovation are standard practice. We believe this will empower the CCIs to become drivers of innovation, creating a better and brighter future.
If Europe is serious about future-ready innovation ecosystems, CCIs must move to the core. That requires structural change in innovation policies. ekip comes with 5 specific recommendations:
- Embed CCIs structurally across EU programmes, horizontally and vertically
- Break down policy silos and enhance cross-policy approach.
- Redesign innovation ecosystems around Open Innovation, built for how CCIs actually work.
- Shift to innovation portfolio-based financing and investment, with intermediaries as orchestrators.
- Build a standing foresight engine to keep CCI innovation policy ahead of the curve.
At the ekip final event during DDW expert panelist will discuss the ekip findings and recommendations. Together with creative professionals, policy makers, CCI platform leaders and academics it will be defined how to bring them from policy to action.
