Fungkee Supercoating develops a 100% biobased, transparent coating to make biomaterials water-repellent. Founded by Emma van der Leest and biotechnologist Nick van Biezen, the team studies compounds in local fungi at BlueCity Lab to create a safe, biodegradable alternative to PFAS coating.
