Trudo / Igor Vermeer
See what happens when two artists step into the world of social housing and challenge deep-rooted habits within the housing sector.

Artists in Residence

An alarming housing shortage, increasing climate change and growing inequality call for radical breakthrougs in social housing. Driven by the vision 'Supporting People - Let's Innovate', Trudo chooses to do things differently. No risk aversion in the boardroom, but bottom up innovation. Real change requires a shift in mindset, which is precisely why we asked two autonomous, creative makers to join forces.

During Dutch Design Week they present their work. After a year of design research, physical interventions and playful disruption the artists reveal their findings. The exhibition offers their perspective on living in 2050 and unravels underlying questions whilst zooming in on mess & memory.

Explore how creative craftmanship and speculative design leads to new directions of thought, fresh connections and concrete perspectives for complex societal challenges.
