Objects at the Light Tower

In the center of Eindhoven, we take a trip down memory lane in the buildings where it once started. Showing the newest work from the studios of many Design Academy alumni.

The Light tower

The West Cord Hotel gave us the space and opportunity to curate an exhibition in the same building we once studied at. Though after graduation we all went our own ways, developing new techniques, products and materials, this DDW we come together once again next to the place where it all started.

The Work

Curated by Aaron Preyer and Emma Werkhoven, we will showcase a collection of design ranging from furniture, ceramics, lighting, publications and more! This exhibition brings together different disciplines in design, including a lot of new work!

The Designers

Participating designers are: Aaron Preyer, Emma Werkhoven, Jelmer Nijp, Lotte Schoots, Matthijs Koerts, Ralf Gloudemans, JVD2 studio, Filip Pista and Tom Schoonhoven (With more to come!)

About Designers at the Light Tower

We are a collective of alumni from the last decade(s). Where we once walked the same halls, we now come together once again to show how we’ve grown since this very impactful time in our careers. Connected by our love for our craft and creativity.
