Tactile Counterbalance
In a society increasingly curated by algorithms and seamless digital interface polish, The Living Museum provides a necessary physical and tactile counterbalance. Directly aligned with Manifestations’ theme MUTE and the concept of Unspoken truths, this installation strips away the digital filter to reveal the chaotic, authentic reality of human creation. Rather than presenting static, untouchable design objects, the space acts as a living, breathing studio environment in which upcycled materials, mixed media, raw Art Brut, and personal archives come together. Visitors are invited to step beyond passive observation and engage through sight, touch, and direct dialogue. By transforming discarded materials and everyday remnants into expressive art, the project challenges our reliance on algorithmic perfection and questions what gets muted in a hyper-digitized world. It reclaims human agency, messy creativity, and the power of physical presence in an era where genuine connection is constantly pushed into the background.
