Spotnik is a collection of furniture and lighting for students and young professionals living in compact, temporary spaces. It turns everyday products into adaptable, playful ones using industrial, reclaimed and 3D-printed components.

Objects Shape Space

Spotnik Collection is a family of domestic objects designed for compact and temporary living spaces, particularly for students and young professionals. The collection looks at how furniture can respond to the way people actually use their surroundings, rather than functioning as a set of fixed, isolated products.

The project started from observing everyday domestic habits and the spontaneous ways people interact with objects around them. These gestures become part of the design itself, turning familiar behaviours into new functions and ways of using the objects. The aim is to make objects that can adapt to different situations and ways of living, especially within spaces that are temporary or constantly changing.

Each piece is designed to be used and adjusted, allowing it to become personalised over time.

About Charlie Starman Product Design

Charlie Starman is an independent creative project built around an original character and alter ego. Born from a fascination with comics, superheroes, imagination and exploration, Charlie is a way of giving form to a more rebellious and unconventional side of myself. The project uses the character as a vehicle for visual experimentation, storytelling and design, turning personal experiences and childhood influences into a wider creative universe.
