Wedge Furniture: Beyond Plywood
Wedge Furniture is a research-driven furniture project based on a simple wedge-joint construction system that eliminates the need for screws, adhesives or permanent fittings. Developed over several years through laminated plywood prototypes, the project is now moving beyond plywood to explore recycled and circular materials. The aim is to retain the simplicity of the original system while investigating how alternative materials can open new possibilities for more sustainable furniture production.
The project is co-financed by the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage under the Creative Industries Institute programme “Development of Creative Sectors”.
