With WOW NATURE, Crafts Council Nederland explores this relationship from different perspectives. Landscapes emerge through an interplay of natural processes and human influence. We see works created through an exchange between what nature offers us and what we can create, transform and reinvent.
The exhibition forms a landscape in which this interplay becomes visible. The works on display show how makers investigate, process and reshape natural materials. They invite us to reflect on what we consider natural, how we relate to our surroundings and where the boundary lies between what evolves naturally and what is shaped by human hands.
