Second edition
Forward Furniture is an exhibition curated by Liv Vaisberg in collaboration with Dutch Design Week, dedicated exclusively to contemporary furniture design.
Returning for its second edition following a successful debut in 2025, the exhibition brings together emerging and established designers, galleries and editors from around the world. It presents realised furniture collections exploring new directions in collectible design, limited editions, craftsmanship, material innovation and conceptual thinking.
Each participating designer is required to present a cohesive collection of Three Furniture Pieces that together express a clear design vision.
Taking place in a spectacular industrial building, Forward Furniture will bring together around 100 international participants in one carefully curated exhibition.
Curator
Liv Vaisberg is a curator, creative director and founder of Liv Vaisberg Office, an independent curatorial office specialising in contemporary design, art and cultural strategy. She's also the co-founder and artistic director of COLLECTIBLE, the leading international fair dedicated exclusively to 21st-century collectible design, held annually in Brussels and New York. She is also the co-founder and artistic director of the Design Biennale Rotterdam.
