This former Philips building on Strijp-S used to be called SEY. Until 1978, the Eindhoven telephone exchange was located here, with the operators on the first floor. They put people in touch with each other.
Nowadays, we find each other via all kinds of digital channels, and calling is almost becoming an obsolete medium. But how nice is it to actually speak to each other?
