Solar Object’s ambition is to visualize the simple relation between solar energy and consumable lighting. By looking away from specified context, we morphed our understanding of what needed to complete a full circle of energy transformation into a single-unit, solar-powered lamp with a robust, brutal yet mobile appearance. Through unobscured materiality and hands-on playfulness of the design, we seek to inspire thinking on current threats to humanity and potential future outlooks.
