"BOOB TALK" is een modulair en draadloos bh-ontwerp voor grote borsten dat comfort, esthetiek en ondersteuning combineert in één product. Deze beha is ontworpen om te voldoen aan de specifieke behoeften van grote borsten en is het resultaat van maandenlang gebruikersonderzoek.
Integrating support structures directly into the textile of the bra through knitting technology and 3D printing provides support and eliminates the need for the traditional metal wire. The bra features a modular cut and innovative fastening elements that allow for customised sizing, making it suitable for a wide range of different breast sizes and shapes.
The project was realized in collaboration with the Smart Textiles Hub Dresden and the Textile Prototyping Lab Berlin and supported by the Women's Advancement Fund at the Potsdam University of Applied Sciences. As part of the Designer in Lab 2023, the project is currently being further developed into a functional prototype with the Fraunhofer Institute ISC.
