At the Textile & Material Innovation HUB, designers, scientists, makers and thinkers come together to explore new possibilities within the field of textiles and material innovation, driven by curiosity and engagement.
What if material becomes relational, affecting our sensorial systems? What happens to the role of the designer when materials are not controlled, but collaborated with? What new narratives emerge when waste becomes a material of value rather than a problem?
Through experimentation, knowledge and collaboration, the projects challenge how we understand, create and use materials, cultivating a new material culture for the future that is not only imagined but also created.
