Collaborate, yes! But how?
We’re showcasing what’s already possible, what’s already happening, and what still needs to be done. The key question we explore is: how do we do this together? We can support countless innovations and make all the right declarations, but if we don’t truly collaborate, we won’t get anywhere. Or as we like to say: if you want to build sustainably, you have to consider the whole system.
The exhibition is built around four key themes:
- Materials and Methods – What should we preserve? What should we reinvent?
- Agriculture Builds Land – How and where will we live?
- Community and Space – How do we explore together?
- Infrastructure, Nature, City – How do we create one landscape?
Each theme features installations by Biobased Creations and other designers. You’ll read, touch, and experience stories from over 20 partners working in the construction and infrastructure sectors — from government to builders, researchers to designers, manufacturers to farmers, and from landscape stewards to financiers. Together, they tell a comprehensive story — the story of how all these parties are needed to shape a sustainable future for construction, infrastructure, people, and nature.
Programme of events
Various meetings, tours, and sessions will also be organized by Rabobank, BPD, and other program partners over a two-week period. The program will be available online at a later date.
Who is it for?
The HUB is aimed at professionals from the construction, infrastructure, government, education, nature, and water sectors, as well as anyone involved in the circular living environment. DDW visitors will also be inspired by what is possible now and in the near future.
