Support Het Bouwdepot and help build brighter futures for young people during DDW25

Each year, Dutch Design Week selects a charity visitors can contribute to when purchasing their ticket. In 2025, that cause is Het Bouwdepot. We ask those who are able to give what they can – for young people who urgently need financial stability and perspective.

Het Bouwdepot

This year, Dutch Design Week supports Het Bouwdepot. This foundation provides young people in vulnerable situations with a year of financial stability and the space to shape their own future.

In the Netherlands, thousands of young people face long-term crises. They are homeless or at risk of homelessness, burdened with debt, or lacking a social and financial safety net. The current system often fails to provide sufficient support, making it extremely difficult for them to escape their situation.

Het Bouwdepot offers these young people a stable monthly income, enabling them to set their own goals and build a solid foundation without external pressures. Not dictated by rules, but rooted in trust. This safety net allows them to take back the steering wheel, regain control over their lives, and gradually build towards a brighter future.

How you can contribute

Donating is simple via the Dutch Design Week ticket shop. When purchasing your ticket, you can choose the amount you’d like to give to Het Bouwdepot. Your contribution helps young people quite literally build towards a more stable and hopeful life.

Refugee Team Eindhoven and Wasbeer & Pauw

In addition to Het Bouwdepot, Dutch Design Week also collaborates with Refugee Team Eindhoven and Wasbeer & Pauw. This provides refugees with opportunities to gain work experience as volunteers during DDW and to further expand their network in Eindhoven.

Cultuur Inclusief Eindhoven

This year, DDW is once again supporting Cultuur Inclusief Eindhoven. Thanks to this partnership, we are making 500 tickets available for people on a low income in Eindhoven, ensuring that Dutch Design Week remains accessible to everyone.
