Kick-off your DDW evening at Cabinet of Collaborations
A private tour of the exhibition, an inspiring talk and a dinner: at Cabinet of Collaborations, we connect designers with the industry and discuss the work behind the projects, the value of collaboration and the results. Join us every weekday at 18.30 for the perfect start of your DDW evening!
Hit the City for a healthy dose of music
Hit the City is the new and improved version of DDW Music. From Friday 15 to Sunday 17 October, you can enjoy free performances by up-and-coming talent at various locations in the city. From hip-hop to grunge, and from singer-songwriter to indie: let us surprise you!
A theatre visit in-between
On Wednesday evening, you can go to De Leken, a theatrical talk show about housing with Floris Alkemade. Philosophers, scientists, artists, musicians, poets, activists, idealists, thinkers, doers and monks search together for new answers to how we want to shape our lives in the year 2021 and how we want to meet the future.
The Bar @ Ketelhuisplein
A party with a different vibe every night, that's what Ketelhuisplein is for. From 17.00 to 21.00 (22.00 in the weekend), you can let loose on the best parties. By the way, the bar opens at 11.00, so feel free to get a drink earlier! Our tip: DayDayGay on Sunday 17 October.
Don't feel like going home?
Spend the night at Plan B! Here, you'll find To Many Places, a pop-up hotel with a nomadic feel. For € 75 a night, you can sleep in one of the designer tents. They are simple, but offer everything you need. A luxurious breakfast at SUBBAR in the morning will make sure you have enough energy to start your new DDW day!
DDW Closing Party: 575 x SUBBAR
The DDW Closing Party is traditionally one of the best parties of the year; you will want to be there! This year, we go to SUBBAR for an evening designed like an exhibition. Fresh, young and new talents that fit in with the local scene; 575 wants to surprise, inspire and connect people in different ways.
