Learning about the serious challenges of our modern society doesn’t have to be dull. Why not play and learn about sustainability and circularity in a fun way?
The Green Escape is an educational game for those wanting to have a good time while becoming aware of environmental issues and solutions.
Sustainability meets fun!
This Dutch Design Week exhibition, created by researchers from TU/e, features an innovative and educational escape room activity. Participants will have the chance to join a round, playing alongside teammates to tackle challenges and learn about various aspects of sustainability and circularity.
Part of the EWUU Alliance's Circular Society project, this initiative aims to provide a modular and interactive way to engage both the general public and students, helping them master environmental issues and solutions in a fun and engaging manner.
Through our presentation at Dutch Design Week, we aim to raise awareness and empower citizens with new knowledge and tools to support environmental causes after their experience in the escape room.
Have you ever played a serious game? This is your chance!
The game begins in the office of a scientist who has invented a time machine and travelled to the future to find solutions to mitigate climate change. However, upon his return, he becomes trapped inside the time machine. Your mission is to solve the clues and rescue him. When you unlock the door, the solution is revealed!
This is a group activity. Make sure to form groups before arrival or to make new friends at the venue to join this serious game.
No prior knowledge is needed to play—just bring your curiosity and excitement!
