On the curtains are patterns that show the illusion of windows by years of sun exposure, creating a powerful metaphor for climate change’s slow and often unnoticed effects.

By presenting the fabric as if it were window treatments altered over time, Yvonne invites viewers to reflect on the subtle, invisible shifts occurring in our environment. This installation underscores the delicate balance between nature and human activity, prompting a deeper awareness of the ongoing transformations reshaping our planet. At the same time, there are reasons to be optimistic, as nature-friendly technologies, products, foods, and habits continue to rise, offering hope for a more sustainable future.
