The Golden Door consists of an app as a tool, a video for store employees and a public campaign with the message: everyone is welcome. Stores that comply with a set of standard adjustments receive the Golden Door Placard, awarded by a jury of experts by experience.
You can see online which stores have a placard. The website of such a store has been adapted for blind and deaf people and is connected to the Golden Door app. This allows blind people to ask for guidance upon entry, often an obstacle to entering a store.
