Metamorphosis of the Baroque

After my Bachelor's degree Product Design at ArtEZ in Arnhem (2006 -2010) and the master's Applied Arts at the Dirty Art Department, Sandberg Instituut in Amsterdam (2010-2012), I started my own design studio in Arnhem (2015).

I am intrigued by the idea that everything is in a constant unrifined state. This results in my unorthodox and unfinished use of material. In that way, I try to suggest that my designs always continue to grow.

Because I tend to start my work from this idea, my designs rather involve asking questions than solving problems.

In order to craft new designs I do a lot of material and form research. Serendipity plays a major role during this process.
