The project aims to bring perspectives together through the unisex garment made from a ‘bespoke’ conversational fabric fully covered in stories (images and words) donated to this work. Any waste from the textile would consequently mean exclusion and devaluation and is therefore not acceptable.
At this stage, it is a conversational textile has been developed from 36 stories donated by individuals in July 2020, in response to the question: ‘How the world looks or feels to you right now?’
This project is an opportunity to shift the perspective
About Aniela Fidler Wieruszewska
Hello! I engage with speculative, critical design and design fiction. Still, as much as I see myself as a ‘futurist’, I’m also a ‘presentis’ putting a conscious effort to stay with the trouble and appreciate the world as it appears to me now. I investigate the tension between value and emotion and how environments, people, feelings, materials and products come together through storytelling, in search of polyvocal ideas and uniting narratives. Feel welcome to get in touch at [email protected].
