Beneath the Old Ones
 upon the blooming weeds, they crawl.
 Collecting dew diamonds (the drops that drift astray);
 absorbing the frozen cloak off stamen; storing it within their shells
 In the early hours before the golden light turn thaw into mist
 water carriers roam the forest floor

Water carriers

The water carries are snails and they absorb the morning dew drops, grass and flower seeds as they crawl in the meadows and forests. When the snails die and their flesh rots away, the seeds sprout and herbage emerge from within the hollow shells. (The water carriers are earthenware sculptures casted from snail shells. They appear in different contexts and projects representing inertia and the resilience of memory.)
