Serendipitous softness

Longing to soften our surroundings. Mute and merge. The textile works "Hey Hue!" are in calming yet vibrant colour tones and made with the finest natural durable materials. A series of accidental smartphone photos of hands, tables and pockets led to inspiring gradual compositions and soft hues. These photos resembled a blurred world, like a misty morning where all shape and colour is softened. The collection exists of (wall) carpets and art prints.

Hello, this is Studio Mieke Lucia! The Arnhem based studio has a playful intuitive approach, working in between the areas of art, craft and design. Mieke Lucia focusses on custom designs for home and work settings, by enhancing acoustics and adding colour. Various natural and innovative materials are used and she finds it important that her designs are durable and there to love and last. By combining crafts and industrial techniques new potential arise, resulting in clear bold designs.
