In this series of photos I share moments of when we do feel rich or on top of the world. When a certain type upper-classism is achieved as a mental state. The feeling of being important, of being a star.

Why be rich, when u can feel rich

For young artists and makers it is hard to find financial stability and intellectual acknowledgement. Yet the biggest artists are held high in regard. In these days we see the people of the upper class being the ones that have money, go to fancy clubs and party with the stars. For a lot of us artists, minorities, etc… this goal is unachievable. Yet in the weekends, at parties, at balls, we do reach for and come close to this feeling. A mental state of richness of being fulfilled. We dress up and we dance in a way to be seen. For that moment of acknowledgement. By printing the photos on a 10x15 format I make all these experiences of ecstasy equal. There is no moment that is greater nor inferior.
