What to expect?

A juxtaposition between the mundane and the unexpected. Are they young generational rebels planning to overthrow the old elite to build a next upper class, or are they creating something more fluid? Should something be offered? Or should we just not obstruct and let them create their own opportunities, so what they sow can be reaped and called their own?

The name Woensel-West is not officially recognized as a neighborhood because this name had a pejorative reputation in 1986. The district is now characterized as a colorful and pleasant working-class neighbourhood. Edisonstraat is centrally located in the district, at number 156 is a playful and striking building called De Showpony. De Showpony represents the end of what once was and the beginning of a new era. A unconvential exterior characterizes the building and represents the no-nonsense yet distinctive mentality of the district.

In the always vibrant Woensel-West there is a double celebration during this Dutch Design Week. Besides celebrating The Next Upper Class, our neighbors from House West_ have also opened their doors.
