As the salinization of the land in Venice transforms the vegetation, the local culture has to adapt to the new conditions. By offering tools to process halophytes and a dedicated bi-lingual publication, Raccogliere (Italian "to gather and collect") suggests a new way to face the changing landscape.
About Raccogliere Project
Raccogliere is conceived as a limited edition series, which places a non-human actor at its center in order to understand the challenges of a given location through another perspective. Through this site-specific approach, each edition will respond to these issues with a series of objects and a dedicated bi-lingual publication. Raccogliere intends to support resilient communities by promoting regenerative actions and practices of the commons.
