By rethinking how public and corporate environments are furnished, ReHemptation utilizes Strumber—an advanced hemp biocomposite—to actively sequester carbon and eliminate reliance on timber and fossil-based plastics. Grounded in material research aligned with IPK guidelines, CO2Balance merges sustainable engineering with universal design principles. The collection addresses human sensory needs through tactile 45-degree chamfers, shadow-edges, and non-glare surfaces for visually impaired users, alongside sound-absorbing hemp fibers and elastomeric isolators that optimize acoustic clarity for hearing aid users.
