GBO was closely involved in the development of Summox One from the concept phase onwards. Through product design, UX and engineering, we worked on the overall design, user interaction and integration of the different process steps into one system. Using concept studies, visualisations, prototypes and technical development, the design was gradually refined into a functional and manufacturable product.
Smart Container development
In parallel with the machine, GBO developed the Smart Container used to hold the dental instruments throughout the process. Different layouts, materials and production techniques were explored to achieve optimal cleanability, safety and ease of use. Solutions were tested and refined through 3D-printed prototypes, machined models and trial tooling, leading towards series production.
