An exhibition where a select group of designers reimagine the Ashtray, the Cupboard, and the Leather Boots—three objects inspired by beloved items from anonymous lives. Each piece tells a unique story, weaving together the cultural myths of rebellion, romance, and sophistication that once surrounded them. Inspired by three soundscapes of anonymous people talking about their most precious items, the exhibition reflects on what the objects around us are really about.
Exploration: The exhibition delves into the cultural history of the objects that surround us, examining the allure of beautifully designed items and the mystique they embody.
Reimagined: A selected group of designers reinterpret these everyday items, transforming functional objects of desire into works of artistic and historical reflection.
