DDW isn't an endless row of display cases filled with chairs you're not allowed to touch. Expect a day packed with interactive installations, games, AI, experimental fashion and unexpected experiences. From extraordinary technology to a glimpse inside a teenager's mind, there's plenty to discover at DDW26!

Games, virtual reality, AI and robotics: at GameChangers – Playful Innovation, AI-VR-Robotics, discover how technology and design come together. And the best part? You can try it all out yourself.

And what happens when AI gets involved in design? At AI AI AI: Slopject Squishies, explore a playful and surprising take on the world of AI and digital image culture. Perfect for anyone who spends their days scrolling through an endless stream of online images.

At Philips Design: Soul & Science, it's all about combining technology and creativity. Discover how design and science come together, and how new ideas can help shape the world of tomorrow.

Fashion? Always fun. Especially when it involves sensors, electronics and moving parts. At Fashion Tech, fashion and technology come together in surprising, interactive designs.

At The Biodesign Warehouse by DDW Beacon Emma van der Leest, discover what happens when designers start collaborating with bacteria, fungi and algae. From fashion and cosmetics to packaging and interiors. A little weird, but above all, fascinating!

Love cars? Then check out TU/ecomotive VENTRA. Students from Eindhoven University of Technology have built a futuristic electric two-seater that captures fine particles released by tyres and brakes. Because did you know that electric cars also cause pollution? At DDW, you can see this extraordinary car up close!

At Blind Spots: A Speculative Care Infrastructure, discover how design can make us rethink care and the ways we look after one another. And at Onderweg naar een toekomst, the focus is on the future: how do we imagine what's ahead, and what role can design play?

Finally, at In the Head of a Young Mind, you'll literally step inside a young person's mind through light, sound, photography and spatial design. The installation explores stress, pressure to succeed, identity, loneliness and the need to be seen. Relatable, thought-provoking and a powerful experience to share.

And of course, DDW is about much more than just looking and listening. Between exhibitions, there are performances, plenty of great food and exciting things happening all across the city. Sure, you might even learn a thing or two, but above all, DDW has all the good vibes of a festival.
