E-products has been deeply integrated into our lives, what if they do not play a role as functional machines but technology cohabitants. CO-habitant, as a speaker, is individual with its own personalities whose behaviours change and trying to create a good relationship with its user over time.
This project, CO-habitant, is an exploration of how an object ‘communicates’ its status to evoke an emotional attachment between it and user.
CO-habitant is an audio speaker. But it is not just a regular audio speaker – it is an individual featuring it

I’m, Jinzhao LI, 2020 graduates of the Royal College of Art/Imperial College London, MA/MSc Innovation Design Engineering.
I always see design as way to connect people with their surroundings. And in my philosophy design should be simple, enjoyable and engaging. As a designer, my intent is to explore the future of the language and relationship between object and human. Enjoy exploring the emotional connection between people and objects, making products alive, talkative.
