Muzus
“We see our role as a beacon as the perfect opportunity to emphasise that collaboration is the strength of the social design field. Working together to create the best possible future society, one that we all want to live in.”
During Dutch Design Week 2024, Muzus will present the project Meaningful Encounters at Ketelhuisplein. Highlighting the way meaningful encounters are the heart of social design, the interactive installation will offer visitors the opportunity to explore the power of imagination and ways to create the right environments for co-creation and learning from each other.
Stefan Diez
"It is not enough to design circular products alone. We must consider the whole system, the entire infrastructure from raw materials to retail."
Changing perspectives on good and sustainable design are imperative for the designs of tomorrow. This is why Stefan Diez gives the stage to the next generation of designers. During Dutch Design Week, his students from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna will be part of Class of ‘24, a group exhibition at the Klokgebouw featuring projects from various design-related academies. Stefan previously shared with Dutch Design Week how teaching provides him with the opportunity to reflect back on his own design philosophy and pass on knowledge to the next generation.
Alongside Muzus and Stefan Diez, Dutch Design Week will welcome three trailblazers to serve as the following beacons on DDW24. Keep tuned: they’ll be introduced shortly.
